In Chinese Energy Medicine we see cancer as a ‘toxic embryo.’ Like a real embryo it feeds off of ‘the host’ through the blood and other fluids as well as off of emotions. However, this ‘toxic embryo’ grows from negative emotions and ill health.
It is common for people diagnosed with cancer to have experienced a major trauma within the last five years, and sometimes influenced by unresolved pain from many years ago in childhood. When emotions stay unresolved they may influence the body’s natural ability to fight off bacteria, viruses, or other more severe ‘toxins.’ Negative emotions like grief or anger that stay unresolved become ‘energy toxins’ and create additional work for the immune system, thereby impairing its ability get rid of toxins as efficiently as it could otherwise. When someone feels they do not have enough support to let out these emotions, or don’t know how to, their trauma will not heal, and it can become suppressed creating a chronic energetic condition.
The unresolved emotions will contribute to various levels of immune suppression, like catching a lot of colds, new or more severe allergies, and more severe conditions. The body is expressing itself by saying, “Hey you need to pay more attention to me!” Often times we just don’t get the clues. We just go on with our lives same as usual, hoping something will change, but not pursuing it enough to get to the root of the difficulties. Until finally we wake up and start taking the necessary action.
